Have not been around this forum much of late being involved in 2 GBs at the moment. Building for tigerman’s Panzerjager GB and moderating The Great War GB. Here is my Cyber Hobby Stug III G with deep wading muffler completed for the TMan’s GB. 100% OOB. Great fit… even for Dragon/CH. But the instruction sheet… OMG[:S] Tamiya paint with oils washes and MIG pigments.
Bill, it’s not until you start weathering the 1 color scheme that you realize how difficult it seems. It gets so dark looking so fast, you really need to talk yourself into, “It’s not that dark…but STOP NOW!”[:D]
Mike, sorry to say you missed a good one. Still waiting for thee totals but there was a pile of armor there. We had to do a double split of just the pre-45 category.
G, no worries. In keeping with the vane of 2 part thoughts, my 1st reaction was, “That was harsh.” but then next thought was, “Nah! G’s not like that.” I still love you. That’s in a Wayne’s World “I love you man” kinda way… not in a "let’s get coffee kinda way.[;)] Interesting though, I looked at about a dozen walk around of Pz and Stug 3s and 4s and about 40% had them backward too. Some of them looked like they came form, the field that way too.
Two reference photo’s that show them wrapped around the running gear in the direction like your model …makes me wonder why the heck did they shape the tracks like that anyway ?
