Stuff

For my birthday I got some stuff coming from micromark. Any of you familiar with these tools and any advice?

Weathering Pastel set (both boxes in one set with a little brush sponge thingy)
Pic-N-Stik Little sticks in like a matchbook looking thing thats sticky and reusable over and over. Like 30 to a book.
Polly Scale clear Flat I know this one dont worry
Panel scriber for plastic models Says its specifically designed so I thought I would fork over the 14 bones for it.
economical strip and wire bending jig Mounts your your work bench and helps you bend little things for like engine plumbing

any of you know any of these things?
Jeff

I use chalk pastels from the Arts supply store. That way I can buy 1 single stick.

Never heard of those.

If they are the tritools series now sold by Hasegawa. Good stuff.

Yup, got something similar. great stuff.

The Pic-N-Stiks are good for placing small parts but they really shine as holders for small parts your painting, airbrush or brush. Stick the unsticky end in a piece of clay or a piece of florist foam works too.

I have them all Jeff. Very useful tools. The panel scriber is very nice & well worth the $.

Regards, Rick

The bending jig sounds like it would be very useful.

Thanks guys I am waiting at the mailbox impatiently… Got my spit on hold for the pastels.
Shoulda seen my list at first!!! it was a wish list from MicroMark for some serious $$$. I just wettled it down til it was in my price range. was kinda fun deciding what was in the mail and what would wait. Made me really think about what I bought as far as what i really need at the moment.
