Stuart Light tank Book by Hunnicutt

Hey, do any of you fine folks have this book? I either need to buy one from somebody, or ask a few questions from someone who is really patient:) I heard that the Bradley book from the series has been reprinted, but no one has any information on whether or not the Stuart book is going to be reprinted. I have a few projects that I would like to do, but I can’t find enough info for them, and these versions are glossed over or ignored totally, and I am hoping that Hunnicutt addresses some of them. You can answer here, but e-mailing me might be better, since I don’t want to sound too ignorant. Any help would be appreciated.

I don’t have that book either. But I am able to see it through my local library. It’s called “inter-library loan”. You put in a request and the library borrows one. Ask your local librarian.

“Stuart” fetches huge premiums on the used book market. Over on bookfinder right now (the rare occasion they become available), two shops have one for about $300.

While the reprint of “Sherman” was successful, I don’t know if a publisher would invest into a reprint of “stuart”. “Bradley” is a current title and is easily obtained at many sellers.

Try this site for all these: www.bookfinder.com

Inter Library loan is definitely the way to go. Six weeks in your hands, all free. Good luck

I’ve tried bookfinder and many others, to no avail.

I went ahead and did a request for an ILL, and we will see if that gets me anywhere. I’ve checked libraries in Chicago, North Carolina, and around Laramie, but no luck there, either. I hope that my library can find something. I’d like to get these projects correct. If not, I can just fake them, since I don’t do contests, anyway, and only I would know. Thanks guys for the ILL idea. I didn’t know my libarary would do that, and we will see if they can find something!

Yes, beg and plead at your municipal library. Some smaller cities have little to no budget for this. If yours does, then you should be golden.

Good luck! When I have received it through the library, they usually borrowed it from one of the colleges in this part of the state. Keep the faith, It sometimes takes awhile.

I checked the colleges in this area, and I haven’t had any luck. I hope that whatever they try works. I really want to borrow this book.

Yann Solo,

I couldn’t get the message you sent. FineScale said it was no longer there. You can contact me by e-mail, at fomocomav@yahoo.com.

Thanks!

Score!!! My library is going to get the book!!!

Way to go![tup]
