Sorry about all the questions relating to my f-15 lately[:I], but can you strip the paint off of a canopy with brake fluid?
I use MR Muscle Oven Clearner [non caustic] to strip my canopy’s and aircraft . I just spray on the foam , then place the canopy in an old tupper-ware box , clip on the lid and leave it for a day . I then gently scrub the paint of with an old tooth brush with some water . The canopy alway’s comes back nice and clear. I hope this helps !
If you are using acrylic paint you can used windex with ammonia. If you have anny fogging you can polish the canopy and then dip it in future floor wax

You can also try using toothpaste to polish the paint off the canopy. Avoid the gel kind, though–just use normal white toothpaste. A brand called “Glister” seems to work best for me; one tube has lasted for me for several years now. It also works well for shining up surfaces before applying a NMF. You can buff the paste with a q-tip, or old t-shirt, and even using your finger will work. Like many methods, it doesn’t always work, but it’s a workable alternative sometimes.
