make a link to your GB in auto section. and decide which section you want the GB to stay in. that way people won’t get confused with posts. i am putting the badge i designed at the other section.

I am in paknick I will let you know soon what I will build.

Kevin

Hey paknick I know this car is not a tuner but I thought I would show you a car that I have been working off and on for two years. she will be awsome when she gets finished. most of the chassie and motor is scratch built, the tubbing for the rear tires has been a chore but very fun. it will have a scratch built fuel cell and fuel lines when finished.

[:D][:D]

WOw Platinum, that looks amazing,I like the Gray with the black interior, that just looks amazing.

well glad you like it but it still has a long way to go. I hope that it will be done by november
Kevin

hey paknick that badge looks cool are we going to use it or do you have something else in mind

Kevin

Depending on the time frame, I might be interested. My street tuner would be Mad Max’s V-8 Interceptor.

ralph where did you find that car? or is it going to be scratch built?, love mad max and would love to build that car.

Kevin

Mmmmm no comments here I hope this build goes off. no one saying anything. Whats up?
Kevin

Im looking to build a skyline type R’ now to find the kit at my hobby store[:D]
Kevin

get that new tamiya Z-tune GTR R34 then. sweetest skyline of them all.

Ok now were talking that is what i will go looking for tomorrow[:)] thank you archange571
Kevin

No, not a scratchbuild. There is a plastic kit by Aoshima and several guys who sell resin ones. Haven’t decided which one to try yet, but I’ve wanted to build one for a while, so this may be my inspiration.

Thank you Ralph I will check into it today.
Kevin

I did a little more research last night. The main resin kit is made by Planet X and runs a cool US$ 120 ! (They also make kits of the two multi-colored Pursuit/Interceptor cars from the beginning of the movie, also for $120 each).

So, unless I win the lottery between now and next week, it looks like I’ll be trying to track down the Aoshima kit. It’s out of production, but I’ve seen it for sale in a couple of places so I think it’s still generally available.

Let me know if you find anything else.

This may not be getting the interest you think it should because there is another forum dedicated to cars that’s affiliated with this forum. Go to scaleautomag.com and you’ll probably see more interest.

That being said, it’s still good to see some car GB’s going on in this forum. I’m particulary enjoying the Muscle car GB.

Actually I am about 30 minutes’ worth of work away from finishing an Eclipse … if I hadn’t started it yet, I’d be all over this GB.

But I’ll watch. [8D]

Good luck to everybody!!

audiophile we are having a great time arn’t we. when the eclips is done jump in with a new tuner. I was out today looking. hard to find decent kits.
Ralph that kit at this time is out of my budgit. so I will look for other rides[:(]
arki-30 that muscle car build we are working on is the bomb. I hope to have more stuff done on the duster and challenger this week.

Kevin

Yes, it turns out that the Mad Max kit is out of my budget as well. I realized I could spend $50 for one not very good car model or get 3 state-of-the-art armor kits for the same price - voted for the 3. Good luck to the rest of you with the build.
