One of the local hobby shops is closing so the owner has everything at half off. I know how to store the kits for long periods but can anyone tell me how to store the paints properly
and how long can I store them before they go bad.
I’ve had some bottles of Tamiya Acrylics that have followed me around for 10+ years and still work just fine. I’m not sure about enamels. To store extra bottles of paint, just turn them upside down on the shelf and give them a shake every 6 months or so.
First, store them upside down, as the paints separate the medium usually rises and the pigments fall. The medium is typically what evaporates, storing them upside down allows the pigments to seal the jar and slow the process.
Thanks guys
