i’m building the Dragon Tiger I Late production, and plan on doing it fresh out of the factory door, the ? is, how much if any wear should there be on the contact surface of the steel wheels.
The Tiger I was a heavy vehicle and I would suspect the paint would chip off the contact surfaces immediately. You could ever have a few chips on the contact surfaces of the tracks, pressed in from the movement.
I’m just about finished with my DML Tiger Late production. I opted for the Late Command version with ATAK Zim. What I did with the steel wheels was paint the rims black and dry brushed them with metallic grey. It came out like metal rubbing against the metal tracks. That it also what I did with my Panther G with metal wheels.
