I have been spending nearly all my forum time in the Eric the Tigerman’s great GB, “Steels Cats”. As I have said before, if you don’t frequent the GB area you really should stop by and see the great stuff being done over there.
This is my 2nd entry, Dragon 1/72 Kingtiger, Ardenne 1944, which included the figures.
All molded on tools and cables where sanded off and scratch built.
Marc: I still think 1:35 when I look at this. I’m in awe when I think it’s HALF that scale! That fourth photo…or third from the end is my favorite!
The scratches and chipping are just right, IMO and the subtle steaking is perfect. Those barrel cleaning wood handles are superb!
Your figures, at 1:72, are better than mine at 1:35…boy do I feel inadequate[:(]. I gotta say though, the gravity defying dangling legs of the guy on top of the turret are buggin’ me a bit, but other than that those figures are a real enhancement!
Love the base too…the crossing pattern of the track imprints frame the model perfectly, great color selection for the dirt and grass…[Y][Y]

Sadly, the members whom haven’t followed your KT in the Steel Cats GB, don’t realize all of the scratch work you accomplished in your completed build. Makes it even more amazing.

lol, I’m sure others have wondered the same thing. Life just got really crowded lately–lots of travel, and now I have to travel 12 hours to NY for recording and band stuff, so…(since I move to North Carolina with Jenn.) Now, we have to move off campus since she graduated, and then I go on tour again in March,
Sigh…
Anyway, I"m trying to find the the time to model, but again I’ll be going North for the Holidays for about 10 days. Ugh, I feel like I"m never home for more than two weeks, and I"m gone again…it’s bumming me out. Anyway, good to see a lot of familiar faces still here. And the workmanship is really impressive–your own efforts here, especially. [Y]
Oh and uh…don’t get me confused with that other “Doog__S__”.(ATX) I’m just a single doog. lol [:D]
