Starsky's 75 ford gran torino


this is the revell starsky and hutch kit
i scratch made the power cord for the bubble light using a twisty tie that i removed the paper sleeve from
i also scratch made the vertical seatbelts with tape that i folded in half then cut into two strips
i painted the body and tail light panel centre piece and side mirrors rust oleum 2x ultimate high gloss majestic red
i painted the interior parts rust oleum 2x flat black
i painted the rims, bumpers, headlight buckets, taillight panel surround, grille, air cleaner, valve covers rust oleum bright metallic finish aluminum
i painted the licence plate holders, door handles, window trim, interior trim, rocker panels and seat belt clips and column shifter and indicator lever and base of bubble light and the side mirror faces and the rear view mirror and top of the power booster and parts of the battery and the exhaust tips and manifolds with a metallic silver paint pen
i painted gauge face woodgrain colours using two different brown acrylic paint pens
i painted the cb mic with a white acrylic paint pen
i painted the engine block rust oleum 2x satin oasis blue
i brush painted the engine bay with apple barrel matte black acrylic paint
i posed as set of custom made starsky and hutch figures i made next to it

Loved watching this show as a kid, this and the Dukes of course. Very memorable car. Looks pretty sharp. I like the blue used for the engine.
