this is the polar lights 1/000 snap kit I built with landing gear deployed I used real sand from a beach for the base and and made the rock formations from hard pink foam that I cut with a box cutter and shaped with a Dremel with a sanding drum attachment then painted it sprinkled some diorama grass powder and I made the hot spring by sanding out a dip and different depths and using uv cured resin for the water and the steam was some cotton balls I pulled strands from and put in the resin before it fully cured

thank you once i found out this kit was able to be built with the legs deployed i knew i wanted to do a diorama with the ship landed on a surface of a planet
