I got the A-4F for 9.95, and it is orginally the Hasegawa mold, I’m told. Another deal. But I certainly agree that their catalogues and update are far from user friendly. For one thing, if you don’t have internet, you wouldn’t know they sell Pro-Mask, or any of the Eduard canopy masks, which I have been trying to find. They are not in the catalogue, at least where I can find them. Admittedly, this catalogue is one bear to compile and make easy to use, but I don’t even know if it has an index. And, yes, I never forget that Squadron is a business. It is one of the primary companies that, with our collusion, has put all our LHS’s out of business. That may be progress, but it’s progress I can do without. Again, without our help, it couldn’t have happened.

Squadron is great, at least in my opinion. I have ordered a bunch of stuff from them, and always got great service. However, it is a little funny to look at the monthly supplement, and see them slash out a 34.99 price and write next to it 33.87 or something like that!
Besides, I have a soft spot for them, because they had a LHS in Michigan, where I used to live. The guys there were great! Really patient with me, and always had great stuff.

I’m 2 for 3 myself. Last order they sent me Tamiya purple paint in place of what should have been Gull Gray.
I’m on the verge of making my first Squadron purchase (A 1/72 Me 328 and two Ju 290s. Don’t ask.), and what makes me happy is the fact I can save about $5 on the whole bunch, shipping included, as opposed to buying it from a shop. Sure, with a total price of $66.64, that doesn’t amount to much, but as I have no fixed source of income, every little bit helps!
And did you say they shipped out of Michigan? Excellent! (Three guesses where I live…)
I think their tracking system isn’t up to snuff (you don’t know what shipped until the package arrives). They been very good to me-but as far as deals go-I’ve bought about a 100 kits from them that I didn’t even know existed or that I just had to have.
