Sprue Bros Tour Across America

Do keep us apprised.

OK gang, the tour has concluded, with the box arriving in reasonable shape (huh, they endoscoped it!) and the model itself being wholly intact.

I hope to get on this model quickly, as it was one of my foremost wish list kits. I had eyed a resin conversion kit, but was skeptical that the large bridge would be easy to build. I have also had resin kits sag over time, and hope the plastic bridge will be dimensionally stable in the coming years.

I built Tamiya’s ancient Churchill Mk.VII a number of years ago:

Ayway, thanks guys for keeping me company while I waited for the box to drop. We now return you to your regularly scheduled program. Beep-beep! Zip! Bang! [:D]

Glad to hear you got her and she’s all in one piece!

Well;

There’s a problem with U.S.P.S. for sure. The vehicles they use are not Amphibious! LOL!LOl. I have the same problem and i live in Texas. my last important model related item hit six states Before it finally even got to the Big P.O. in San Antonio.

Wonder why the probe??? Maybe it went off world[:O]

Yeah, what’s up with that TB? I get it that when stuff comes in from overseas, it goes to the carrier’s hub, then to the actual destination.

And when I get stuff from overseas, the box always gets at least one endoscope hole, but I wasn’t expecting one from a domestic package. Is it because Sprue Bros is run by the Chinese? Is Hawaii considered a hostile foreign nation? I dunno. I’m just happy I got my model kit. [:)]

Glad you got your kit, G. Thanks for the pic, good to be able to see what actually arrived.

Yep Greg, this kit narrows my armor wish list. With the bridge in place, it’s going to be a monster. I hope the cables don’t yank out the anchor points, since AFV Club tends to make their fine details to scale.

Now if someone would do an all-plastic Sherman V Crab mine flail tank, a WW I K-Wagen, and a proper US MBT-70, I’d be all set.

Yes, it will. I hadn’t thought of that.

You’ll figure it out. You always do.
