I’m building a 1:35 king tiger, and want to try putting the camoflauge on with spray paint. I have a base coat of Tamiya’s dark yellow, and next i need to do the red-brown camo. How can i mask off the parts to be sprayed without damaging the base coat?
Use Silly Putty as a mask.
I have also heard that play-doh will work.
I use the clay like tack thingy for my 1/72 mottled cammo and for the regular camo, I would just stretch the tack all the way across.
for mottled, spray the mottled color first, put little circular shaped tacks on it, and spray the base coat above it. it always works for me[:D]
