Here are a couple of shots of a recently completed model of the Special Hobby Defenders Of Malta Spitfire Mk Vc trop as flown by George Screwball Beurling of 249 Sqn RAF Ta 'Qali in April 1942. The kit was fairly easy to put together and paint up, though the decals are a little on the fragile side, hence the use of metallic aluminium paint to cover up where they broke apart during fitting. Apart from that, a little light weathering and I’m pleased with the paint job ^^
