Hello, I will be having my son with me for the WHOLE summer and I know he LOVES Space Shuttles. He loves anything associated with Space… I would say I do have sufficient experience at modeling, mainly with 1/24 or 1/25 cars and Im currently working on a squadron of F-14A and F-14D Tomcats…just not a professional yet, but what would be a good kit for both of us to work on together, and where would I be able to purchase that online? I’ve been keeping my eyes on Ebay but no luck so far… Any ideas/hints would be helpful!
Thanks
PRegius999,
I’ve been off and on working on the Hasegawa 1/200 Space Shuttle Orbiter, the one that includes the full stack and the launch pad. The model isn’t very difficult if you want something along those ligns for your son, and the kit actually builds up quite nicely. One of the realy great things about the kit, though, is that it comes with markings for every Shuttle. Makes a good “father / son” project, and isn’t too expensive (about $20.)

Allrite I’ll go to the nearest Hobby store today and check out my selections of Space Shuttle… I’ll keep Hasewaga in mind… Thanks!
PRegius999, did you find what you were looking for? That Hasegawa kit IS very nice. I have one myself and plan to build it out soon.
