Revell kit. Body modifications as follows: removed four wheel opening moldings, and rocker panel trim, I added new upper body side moldings, Engine wired and plumbed, chassis was detailed with brake and fuel lines, and parking break cable. Main body was refinished in white BASF lacquer, red was PlastiCoat lacquer, blue was PPG lacquer, clear coated with DuPont urethane clear (a real mongrol paint job) but it worked out great. Decals were by Slixx.
looks like you got that Jake King Hemi right! I’ve seen the actual car several times, as well as a couple dozen clones. The only thing I see different than the original was the front tires, and I also think they tied in the rear frame rails to the cross member near the transmission. If memory is right they actually used round tubing, and Chrysler came out with a kit to do this same mod, but used rectangular tubing.
Very nice, the shot of the engine bay is great. The wiring looks good everything right down to the spring in the throttle . The entire car looks like a winner to me. Thanks for posting.
