Soviet T-55???

What type of tank was driven by James Bond in Goldeneye? I have been told it was a T-55, but I don’t know which version. Especially since all the T-55 references I have been able to find maintain the driver’s side on the left of the turret, instead of the right as in the movie. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Was there a tank in Goldeneye? Was James Bond in Goldeneye? All I noticed in that movie was Famke Janssen.

Sorry. [:p]

it was a russian t-80 not a t-55

I’m not certain, but I believe it was a T-55 gussied up to look like a T-80.

Wasn’t there a tank in the recent one set in North Korea?

rrrrrr, Famke, so hot!

Now that I think about it, I can’t even remember half of that movie.
There was a tank in the last one? wait, what was the last one? I can’t remember the name after The World is Not Enough

It was definitely a T55 - check the gap between #1 and #2 roadwheels, the defining feature between a T-55 and a T-62.

They are pretty forgettable, I have to say. Except Famke, of course. I saw her in that movie and nearly had a heart attack.

I coulda sworn it was a helicopter that was in the Goldeneye flick though, and the tank was in the Korea one. Hmmm. Or maybe it was in the one after Goldeneye. Sorry, I’m babbling.

The tank was in Goldeneye, but I don’t for the life of me know what type exactly (other than soviet [;)])

But the helicopter WAS in Goldeneye though, I distinctly remember that…
