Source for small chains on 1/35 scale?

Hi everybody,

I want to add some 1/35 scale chains to my panzer iv j. Can anybody tell me where I can get them from? I went to one of those cheap teeny-boper jewelry stores but the chains they have are too thick for the scale. I could hack my wife’s jewelry, but then I’d need to sign all those nasty divorce papers [B)]…
Any suggestions?

Go to an arts and crafts store like Michael’s, Hobby Lobby, Crafts etc. They have those jewelry making sections.

If your hobby shop has a wooden ship section look for Model Shipways chains. They come in different lengths and link sizes. They also come blackend.

Twist tightly two copper wires from electric cabling and then hit them gently with a small hammer and you will get chains for free. The smaller the wire diameter is the smaller chains you get…
