I’m sorry for not givin’ any feedback on you guys work, you know who you are. The reason is, is that I lost my mom to that wicked, and evil disease that is Cancer, last friday week.
[#dots] [banghead] [:(]
Keep it up guys!!
I really hope I can get some inspiration back for buildin’ 1/35.
So sorry to hear it, Eddie. My condolences…I have always believed that you live on after death in the legacy of memories, examples and influences that you leave with those who knew you and loved you…I hope that your mom lives on for you in this way…[angel]
Sorry to hear of your loss, been there myself. Just last year I lost my father in the middle of my other Groupbuild. Still haven’t finished my build. [V] My prayers go out to you and your family. Come back soon.
Thanks so very much guys, for your support! I mean that!
My mom fought this disease for nine years, and never let it get her down. She had great strength of mind and character, she was stronger than any man I know! I’m proud of her.
My dad went 34 years ago and my Mom is now 82. I dread what I will some day have to go through and to also have to face the future not being able to see or say Hi to mom. The older you get, the more you really understand and appreciate them (parents).
I’m sure you have memories of Mom buying you or letting you buy a kit when you were a kid and getting on to you when you got paint on your clothes or made a mess. Such things… are what memories are made of.
One way to think of mom… she is/was someone you loved and models are something you love to do, so why not combine them … [8)] build one for mom and put her name on it.
Sorry that this happened and I hope you can carry on.
Sorry to hear that Paul, my father got thru it a few years ago, he managed to survive but with terrible consequences. I don’t like to say that but I would have prefered a sudden painless death.
It’s a terrible loss, may you live with all the good memories.
Its real cool to have all you guy’s support. Thanks once again, appreciate it.
Ben, in the last two years my mom had it go to her bones and liver. In the last couple of weeks she got an infection in her blood, and a blood clot in her left arm. All this took its toll on her heart, not to mention the effects of chemotherapy and radiotherapy. After all, chemotherapy consists of toxins, which they pump into ya’ to try and kill the cancer off, but in her case it ended up becomin’ a lost cause.
