Thank you! I’d love to play with the MIG stuff, just doesn’t fit in the modeling budget now. Of course if I’d slow down on building up the stash, it could!
I should get a bit of time here shortly, maybe have some significant progress by the end of the year…
Merry Christmas, all!
Something green is something awesome, Rbaer! I love it. Thanks for sharing. I want to see more.

Well, I think it’s ready to go on a base…
I got some time in on NYE since we stayed in this year, and it’s pretty close, I think

Sorry for the lousy pics, I was in a hurry this morning and the camera batteries were on the way out. The mud is parsley, two kinds of wood putty and various “earthy” tones on acrylic paint. Dust is the ever-faithful creamics glaze powders. Many thanks for looking and comments always welcome. Also barely visible is why I dno’t so a lot of figs…[8-]
The other -48 I have in the works that’s supposed to get the M8 'dozer is on indefinite hold until I can get some decent info on the dozer attachment, as trying to make the M9 fit was beyond my abilities at this point in time (read: it was a royal pain in the keester that is way beyond my skill and patience level), right up there with the Merk ball-and-chain armor that I wasted a couple of hours on this weekend as well.
Sweet!! And that TC? He don’t look so bad!

Very very nice, brings back memories…
Great build there fella. One of these has been on my future build list since i last watched Full Metal Jacket. This may inspire me to at least get one into the stash.
Cheers
S far this has been a mornign of seeing posts form a while back for the 1st time. tis is another. And another I am glad I finally saw. Nice. Vey Nice.
Thanks, all. I tried to get some better pics this AM, in outdoor lighting, one may have come out. I think my camera is on the fritz…back in a minute…

This is a little better than the pics I put up yesterday. It’s also my second attempt at serious mud.
Looks good to me! I have the Tamiya kit on the shelf next to a half build M113 both waiting on more stowage, looks like you got it right.
