I usually build 1/48 scale WW2 aircraft but this weekend I took a slight diversion. This is a 1/48 scale Renwal model kit of the Mercedes 540-K
Suprisingly, this kit had over 130 pieces, plastic molded in red, white, black, chromed and clear and included metal axels and lock rings inside the wheels to secure the axel and I only paid five bucks for it! Okay, there was an airplane behind this build - I did it for a diorama prop.
That is killer looking Swanny. And you did that in a weekend? Great job. I am sure it will compliment the plane very nicley! Thanks for posting it.
