Some photos...

…of a few Tamiya 1/35 figures I did about 2 years ago… I apologize for the poor image, but I don’t have much to work with photo wise…

I like the camo work. Paackerson gave me advice for his method, what is yours(just trying toget as much info as possible)?

Those are very nice! [:)]

Col. Kurtz-
I just gave the recessed areas a dark wash and a basecoat of MM Armor Sand, then just went with Flat Brown and Tan in no particular pattern; The real fun was the “chocolate chips”… Flat Black with White using an Exacto clamp base and magnifying glass with a really fine 10/0 sable hair brush. The faces were a Tan base drybrushed with a lighter topcoat… The thing that drove me batty was doing the eyes, teeth, helmet cover rank patch and shoulder insignias…

Ooh, I see what drove you nuts, happens to me. Thanks for the reply.

I can’t believe you thought the photo was poor. The quality was excelent and the figures are good! Much better than what I can do!

Those figures kick ass. Your faces look so much more realistic than mine. Just a question, how did you get the pictures in the text?

Smith M…
First you have to have your photos stored on a server site (I use www.boomspeed.com; it’s free), then when you make a post, click on the"image" link; it’s the one to the left of the # in the “format” bar up top. Then insert your photo link in between the [IMG] brackets…

Thanx, ill try and get some photos of some of my crappy soldiers up[:p]

very cool,i wish i could build figures like that.

Excellent work, especially the camo pattern.

Hello,
can you repost them I cant see them but from what everyone is saying they must be really good.

Sorry… Tried to free up some space on my server and deleted them, but they’re back in the original posting now…
