I read the fine print that is currently $61.00 bid for the kit, $14.70 POSTAGE PLUS! PLUS SHIPPING (HANDLING?) That is $75+. I have learned to wait for the kits it seems to go in waves. I watched Italeri Begrepanther kits go for $30-40, then $20-30, then $20 and then I got one for $10 plus postage. LHS wanted $26 for. I still buy my tools paints, glue and some kits there, but when it get OOP. I shop the internet. And the same with real special orders from manufacturers they don’t normally buy from.
We do need to support the LHS! Walmart is not going to stock our thingies![:)][:D][8D]
That’s $61 and there’s still more than a day to go!! I’d drive the guy crazy and force the price up, but then I might get stuck with the thing!!! LOL
Holy #@!&! There is NOOOO way. I mean I get these uncontrolable urges to buy kits,but that is just bizzare!God bless America that he can feel justified paying that. I wonder how it’s gonna look in the Playboy mansion?[:O][;)]

Any of you collect Hotwheel cars? I used to and the same theory of ebay applied. People couldn’t wait for them to hit the store, so they ordered off of ebay for crazy amounts. I’d wait a month or so and pay my $1 for them. People are so naive.

Someone is selling a “First Strike” DML Tiger 3 in 1 (sound familiar??) and the bidding is up to $30 plus $15 shipping!!! Sure Glad I didn’t have to pay $45 for mine, not that I don’t think the kit is worth that, but sheeesh!

Having said that, I’m actually curious to see this one built up by someone. All things considered, it should be a very nice kit.
