some of my WIP'S

hi all, i got a new camera (the nikon d40) and as a try-out for macro and micro pic’s i made a few shot’s of my wip’s hope y’all like it.

first up a lot of 1/72 build’s, most are dragon, the js2 is italeri, the kettenrad is acedemy, the sherman crab is airfix, the sherman is italeri (i’m going to use this as wreck since i have better dragon shemies now) hetzer is fujimi and the brencarrier is millicast.

next is the Bronco 1/35 comet tank ready for paint, a nice kit. it went wel together exept for the lower and upperhull wich had to be filled.

next the dragon panther g smartkit, a great kit, lot of detail (small parts [xx(]) but as i do mainly 1/72 this was not a big problem.

next the dragon panzer 1 smart kit, i love the panzer 1, i don’t know why but it has something that appeals to my. also a fun kit to build. i plan on putting it on a small base riding over an concrete obstacle or a tree or something, i think with the new dragon panzercrew 1939/43.

next the tamya stuka zu fuss, the kit and the base are nearing completion. i know the decal on the front is silvering i’m going to fix this in the weathering proces.

last, someting different, i made this just for fun, to do something else beside the armor. the foto is a bit blurry but this one is made with my old camera.

i think i’m going to re-photograph all my finished builds an mayby repost them next week or so.

tnx for watching and happy building

WOW definately alot in the works! Can’t wait to see them finished!

Those are some nice looking builds. Quite alot of them too. Ive been thinking of switching over to 1/72 more and more because of cost/space issues, and those vehicles look great for such a small scale. I also like the dio at the end of your post, something you dont see very much. How is the panther smart kit? I think one of my next builds will be a panther.

tnx for the compliments, and i agree, with the 1/72 that especially dragon is offering now, it is a verry good relation price/quality/space. in my display case, i have 7 layers. i can put about 8 little vignettes/dio’s on one. or 2 mayby 3 in 1/35 so that’s quite a difference. and an avarage dragon 1/72 cos’t about 14 euro’s in the netherlands, airfix revell hasegawa around 12 euro’s or less and an 1/35 around 40,-

i’m now into brittish stuff and have just about all the models there are in plastic so i’m switching to resin because millicast has a lot of brittish vehicles with great detail, they are also about 15 euro so that’s not bad, especially on a tight budget.

the panther smartkit was fun to build, goes well together, only fit problem i had was the upper and lower hull, but a good amount of glue and some tape to let it rest a couple of hours did the job.

there are optional parts but the instructions are tricky when it comes to decide wich version of the panther you want to build so good reference is a tip. also the instuctions are black and white and need a good study so find out what goes where. the parts are very nice and don’t require much cleening or sanding.

good luck on your build and i’ll post more 1/72 stuff soon (mayby i can convince you to join the 1/72 club[:-^])

Love the suspension on the Pz1 !!!

As for the final shot, I’m putting my money on the cavalry since only one of the cannons seems ready to fire…(better hope its grape shot or they’re screwed.)
