Some Of My Finished Works

Greating’s

I was looking at all the post’s and I notest Griffworks showing off some of his other work and I thought I would do the same.

This is Hasegawa’s 1/72 Roy Fokkers VF-1S Veritech Fighter from Robotech.

Lukes Red 5, This is Ertl’s Electronic X-Wing

And here’s one of my pride and joys Gunstar 1 from The Last Star Fighter. It took me about 4 years to finish it, Why it took me so long? I HEAVYLY modifyed this kit from Monstars In Motion, So much work that I would think of all I had to do and get [sigh] frushtraded and put it away for awile.

I have done a kit review of the Gunstar on Starship Modeler’s web site this link should work http://www.starshipmodeler.com/other/rs_last.htm please feel free to take a look.

Thank You For Your Time

Nice models. Really good decals on the Veritech.

I have that X-Wing, but I have yet to build it. Any suggestions or warnings? What is it that the voice circuit says?

I thought Griffworks had a good idea too. I got a whole bunch of models I’d like to share, but none of them is really worthy of its own thread, know what I mean? Putting them all in one spot might be the answer, sort of an online portfolio.

I perty much just followed the instructions for the X-Wing except I didnt put the laser cannons on till the last step, Its so easy to snap off thoes small tips!! The best way I found to get the most light from the engines I found is to paint the clear parts crome silver, inside and out execpt where I painted clear red and after you make shure there’s no light escaping (Un Like Mine[:P]) you can paint the out side of the engine claer parts any way you want. There are a few sound f/x Luke “I Am Luke Skywalker, Red 5 Standing By” “Stay On Target” Darth Vader " Dont Make Me Destroy You, I Have You Now" And what sounds like eather Lasers firing or the Proton Torpedos fireing. One more thing be carfull with the canopy.

Ha! No joke. I bought one awhile back for like $10 at a show. Got it home to find the canopy was cracked, and the decals peeling from the backing paper. [B)]

I thought about drilling out the ‘glass’ from the canopy, the way they do on some studio models, but the cockpit isn’t that great. I didn’t want to have to scratch build that too…

Fortunately, a friend offered to sell me his for another $10, so I’m good. I figure I’ll just use the best parts from each kit.

Your engine lights look good. I wondered how they would look when finished. Thanks for that photo, and the tips.

Nice collection. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, agreed - excellent work on those! I especially like the work you put in to the Gunstar, as well as it’s buildup Review. Well done on them all!

Thank You!!!

As soon as I get some shots of my Cylon cockpit ill post them
