Nice collection Rich. I like the weathering on the Churchill. I’ve got the Pz III G in the stash, did you have any issues with it?

[#welcome] to the forums!

Some beautiful work there! Nice weathering on thse builds! Ihope we’ll be seeing some build WIP’s from you soon! [:D]

Welcome to the forums, some nice examples there. Look forward to future work as well. [;)] [tup]

Thanks for the kind words guys! I lurk around here quite often, but haven’t actively participated until now. There are so many top-notch builders around here that I just find myself absorbing and learning new tips and techniques.

Tigerman- Nice camo on your Sturmtiger. I like that dark grungy look, really makes it look menacing! This kit is basically the same as the RG kit, is it not? I have the RG kit and I’m looking forward to building it now!

Re: the PzIII, 90% of it went together pretty well, but the fenders require a delicate touch. Each side has three tiny mounting braces which I found hard to line up. They didn’t want to conform to a 90 degree angle. After some fiddling I got it to work though.

I remember reading about a DAK unit that was re-assigned to the Russian front in late 1941 and I built this tank with that in mind, hence the snow weathering.

Doog- Your Hetzer build was fantastic! That’s definately a beat up looking ‘rabble rouser’, true to its name. Great weathering.

Wbill76- Nice website! I’m building Dragon’s PzIa Modified/interior right now, so it was nice to see what it may look like at the end. I really like the camo paint jobs you put down too.

[#welcome] A screen name well chosen! You have done some beautiful work with some older kits. [bow] But that washroom looks like no mans land… both the Axis and Allies seem to hold it at one point or another [swg]

My Sturmtiger? I do have one posted somewhere in an older thread. Did you find it? The two pics in my profile are a Tiger I and Marder.

The Sturmtiger is Italeri which I believe is the same as RG, so you’re correct. Nice little kit, but a bit of filler needed.

The Tiger is my favorite here. Love the large scale. Hope to see more.

Lol! [(-D] Yeah, it seems the Tiger is King of the laundry room too. “We shall fight on the washer, the dryer, and the furnace.” I know…so many starving comedians…

I LOVE the Churchill!! It’s simply so… awsome… great… wow [:O]

And I like the beating up of the Tiger!! You’re for sure a way better armor modeller than me! Must be my lurking to the good side… The Aircraft section… [D)]

Can’t wait to see more!

I just checked out your link for the BT-7, as I just picked one up on E-bay. OMG, that weathering is unbelievable!! [bow] I don’t gush very often…but in this case it’s justified. While I’m sure I won’t equal the quality of your build, it’s nice to see that an Eastern Express model can be finished so brilliantly.

Hey PanzerRich love the look of the KV-1 with all that earth matter splattered on the lower hull and fenders. You made that russian tank look like it went to hell and back.[:-,] Hope to see some more builds from you.[:)][tup]
