Hi everyone, I have recently(if two months is recently) finished these
First is a Lindberger Sterman.
This is 1/48 the last build finished before school started. Rigged with .010 wire, and used 45 year old decals. I thought they worked great for there age.
Next, P-61
This kit was a real challenge, took a month to build, but ended up being awsome to me. took alot of nose weight. This was a vintage 70’s kit, and was missing many parts.I would like to that Chopper fan for the decals he gave me. Theres actually real pictures of this same plane. And this is quarter scale.
Fujimi Bf-110
Again 48 scale. I really liked this one I think it had great fit. It was for the Battle of Britian Build. I really like these German paint jobs. This one took me a week exactly to build. The decals were OK.
And last is Revells lovely Corsair.
Like the Widow, this was a challenge also, It was for the corsair build. I made it with all the features except the retracting landing gears dont work very good. Still I like it. It also was my first attempt to make my own seat belts(Which don’t look all that great).
Well thanks for looking. I am happy with any Questions,Comments,Explantions,Conplaints,Critisism,Synomyns and anything else.
That is some stunning work there my friend. I love that Stearman, one of my favorite birds- DEFINATELY my favorite biplane. The P-61 is another beauty. You are churning out some fine work!
Awesome work on all four, Andrew! While I have to say that the rigging on the Stearman was exciting to see, my favorite has to be the Widow! SHe sure is a sexy aircraft…[8D]
Great work all around. They all look very nice. Doubly interesting, because I happen to be working on a Fujimi Bf 110 at this very moment. And I sincerely hope it comes out as nicely as yours did!
