I took a few snapshots of my second proper model, a 1/35 Tamiya kit of a German Sdkfz 232 8Rad armored car. Pretty fun kit, except the suspension is a bit finicky and the antenna is… well, aggravation.

Very nice. I have the same kit. I found the suspension to be pretty good, but that antenna! Aggravating barely covers it!
Those are cool vehicles. I like the optional armor shield that goes in the front too.

I will. Next on my paint table is a Russian BT-7, after that maybe the KV-2 or my Sturer Emil. Then I’ll be all clear to start on the DML PzIVE
Which BT-7? Eastern Express? I’ll look for the progress report, for none of the big 3 have released a new for me.

It’s the Zvezda kit (also sold under the Italeri name in some parts). Not an unproblematic build by anyone’s standards, but at least the overall parts count was low so it didn’t take too long to complete. I’d love to do a better-engineered version of the tank sometime, I hope some of the big names in the industry would produce one.
