My friend and I were posted to different squadrons when we came bck to the states. He was a parachute rigger and went to a Phantom squadron, where he got to know several pilots. He ended up getting 8 hours in the back seat of a Phantom. He borrowed my camera a couple of times and took these pictures. The 130 is from my squadron.
I took these photos at the 1968 Armed Forces Day at MCAS Cherry Point. The demo 130 pilot that day was pretty good. Again my squadron.
And the Blue Angels were there that day.
