My camera has finally reached the end of its lifecycle, the CCD imager is probably dying, pictures coming up with purple tinged lines. So, I’m converting them to grayscale.
Surprisingly only my second Japanese BB ever.

Is that the Fuso?
Nice…
sure aint the Zuiho…didnt those huge things protruding from the bottom of the hull create lots of drag and slow her down??[whstl]
c
To the spray booth this week. Pictures with purple haze…

Fuso???
that could be just dirt on the sensor. is it a compact or a full on dslr?
ps nice boat lol
Those protrusions remind me of a summer job I had at a marina where a woman brought her boat to the service pier and complained it was not as fast as advertised and I looked to see if something was fouled on the prop and there securely attached to the boat …was the trailer. What can one say but, “Here’s yer sign.”
Borrowed a camera. Basic coats done. Masking took quite a while. Detail painting/weathering to follow.
Most small fittings such as search lights/AA installed.

No more comments from me until the OP answers my previous questions…
I kinda liked the purple…[whstl]
Manny,
Let me help you out:
WHICH FREAKIN’ SHIP IS THIS??
[:D]
Is that an insult that the ship looks like Fuso? [+o(]
I would feel a tad sad, if I built a spitfire and someone else complimented “nice P47!” [U]
Nah, its just an insult when the OP doesn’t answer questions asked in his thread about his build but wants people to keep looking at his work…
Looks like the Ise or Hyuga. Tell us more about it.
I don’t know much about ships, but after about 10 minutes of looking around online it looks like the Ise before the flight deck was added.
From the pics I saw of Fuso, it looked similar but didn’t have those slanted supports on the aft tower.
Correct! Not that I’m intentionally holding the answer I swear. In fact I think my previous reply answered the question anyway! In a round about way, I said:“No it is not Fuso I’m insulted the ship ended up looking like Fuso!”, which I think answers “Fuso???”.
Though the emo-icons would’ve given away it was a bit tongue-in-cheek but I guess swing and miss?!
Kudos for ID Ise given it’s somewhat similar to Hyuga… Fuso had a different turret arrangement, progoda, stack, mast erm…just about everything actually.
Ok. So is it the Hasegawa 1/700 ? Did you use any PE? How did it go together? While I feel bad about your camera I really want to know about the kit. After all that’s why we’re here.
