I was just thinking(yea, i know, the wife tells me the same cracks you all are saying right now)> Anyway, i was think it might be nice to have at the top of this forum two or three subjects that don’t move. They would be Painting tips, construction tips, and maybe a third. I think this would be great reading for newbies and a great place for those of us to post some tips and pick up some good ones.
Example. You can use a enamel wash of MM burnt umber diluted with turpimoid directly over Tamiya paint, and it won;t harm the underlying paint at all.
WHat do you all think?

There are entire forums devoted to those subjects. Look below the Modeling Subjects set of forums. (Armor is one modeling subject.)
He has a point, though… newbies will look in the forum/topic that interests them most. That’s what I did (am I still a newbie?) Anyway, if there were topic-specific painting threads, for example (one for armor, one for planes, etc.) it would be easier for newbies to find what they were looking for, at least at first, instead of spending tons of time searching for the stuff they needed.
