Hey everyone,
I’m building a General’s car in the best color in the world - Olive Drab.
I’m wondering if EVERYTHING was painted Olive Drab, or if the chassis, rubber moldings, radiator, etc were left in black.
Any help would be appreciated.

Never worked on one so I can not give you a solid answer, but the ones used by MP’s were stock from the manufacturer, no radio(AM/FM) and an OD paint-job with necessary military equipment installed. Same with civilian type trucks, etc.
Patton’s staff car that he had his fatal accident in is on display at the Patton Museum at Ft. Knox. I may have photos of the car at home, if not, here is a link to the museum. You may be able to ask the staff to e-mail you a photo of the car. It was a Cadillac.
