The new issue of Armour Modelling is carrying an ad for Dragon’s teensy 1/144 Panzer Korp series, which come two in a box for 500 yen (about $4.50 USD).
The lineup:
Sturmtiger and Bergetiger
Maus and Tiger I (early)
E-100 and Tiger I (mid)
38(t) and Pzr IV D
They really look good, too.
By the way, these are kits, not pre-builts.
Now my big 1/35 E-100 can have it’s own Mini-E![:D]
How many parts to a kit? Like five? Hull, turret, barrel, left track (one piece) and right track. Oh yeah a little decal sheet! Just think of a ‘group build’ with these tanks!
Alot of detail on such a small frame. Whoever did their marketing pics did some nice paint. Kind of strikes me that maybe they’re going after the wargaming market.
Ditto on the thanx to Buraian-sama ! Domo Arigato, sensei !!
no doubt about me wanting these little babies 4 the shelf… if they look as nice as the Abrams & King Tiger i’ve got already, they’re must-haves 4 me ( & they might even work in some forced perspective in a diorama !)
frosty[:)]
Now you can pose your 1/35 crew figures displaying large scale models of their tanks… you know, made in their off duty hours… or maybe a prototype model on a design table…
Just one thing missing. Shermans, Stuarts and TD’s. Soon I’d guess!
They do look cool, but I think I’ll stick with my 1/72 scale kits for now. [8D] If I get one for Christmas though, I think it would be an interesting build while waiting for my paint to dry! [:D]
