the first one involves me combining these 2 kits into a dio
I will portray a british agent (behind german lines) who posed as a beduin and maintained contact to his superiors by the LRDG.
I will do that one this fall/winter (hopefully)
another one I will do will be a very interesting one.
I will have a BMW motorcycle w/sidecar, and have it set in an occupied country (denmark or netherlands, probably) and have a kid putting sugar in the gas tank or something like that, and another kid around the corner of a building distracting a german officer.
my cousin gave me the idea, and I really like it!!! I don’t know when it will happen, though…
I don’t know about you guys, but there are just certain aspects of WWII that really intrigue me a lot more than others.
These following especially:
The SAS and LRDG in the desert
Allied POW escape stories etc. (especially colditz castle)
The resistance
the commandos and other strike forces
generally the secret, covert, less known aspects of the war.
I am really interested in modeling my favorite subjects of WWII and I think I can do lots of interesting dios and models in those subjects!!!
Sound like some very interesting builds. Consider my curiosity piqued!

WELL, FIRST i HAVE TO FINISH ALL MY STUFF FOR THE m1 BUILD, THEN i HAVE TO BUILD MY 1/72 dd SHERMAN FOR THE DDAY BUILD. BY THAT TIME HARVEST WILL BE UPON US AND i WON’T BE DOING MUUCH MODELING UNTIL OCTOBER. NOVEMBER IS HUNTING SEASON, AND i DO NOT HAVE A SCHOOL OR A JOB TO HINDER ME, SO i WILL BE HUNTING LOTS!!! (BUT IT GET’S DARK AROUND 7-7:30 SO i’LL MODEL IN THE EVENINGS) THEN i’LL PROBABLY BE GOING TO SCHOOL IN DECEMBER FOR 3 MONTHS… OTHER THAN THAT, i’LL BE DOING LOTS OF MODELING [:D]

Some very interesting ideas, should prove to be some very interesting dios.
I’m planing one to start at the end of the summer. First, I have to wait for the trumpeter karl morser. Anyways, it’ll be a scene depicting the Karl on the railway carrier on a brief stopover somewhere in the countryside. There will be a fenced off area and a side road following the railway, where numerous support personell and military vehicles & personell will be mobilizing.
