What if you are rolling down the road, in your i guess rear wheel drive tank, and you hit a pebble, which in turn rips apart some of the pieces holding your all metal german quality treads apart…now, how would you model this? If anyone has pictures, say of like a t34 with broken tracks, could you post them please? I should post why i want them for a non russian afv, but that would spoil the fun, wouldn’t it?
As can be seen below, when the track comes off, the tank usually turns in the direction that came off, since that side is no longer powered. Depending on the speed, the track will either partially peel off or the tank will completely run off of it with the track left behind. Depending on where the track breaks, it can either bunch up behind the tank, or just come off completely. In the first shot, tank swirved right than came back left when he braked, he must have been hauling a@# to get that far off the track.
