Hey guys and gals,
I was looking for a 1/72 kit of a Sopwith Camel and I found this kit: The Eastern Express 1/72 Sopwith Snipe. After reading up on it a bit - I heard it described as kindof a Sopwith Camel on steroids. (Sure to illicit a Pavlovian response from Snoopy and his WWI flying ace brethren).
It is a very nice kit. So far the fit has been really good. The wing fabric detail is amazing and very fine. The kit is just soooo small ! It’ll be a challenge to rig, but this is my second biplane - so at least I think I know what kindof prep to do before assembly to make the rigging easier. (My Fairy Swordfish wasn’t quite so lucky. Oh well - chalk it up to a learning experience)
