Hi Guys.
I have no updates for you all, sorry about that. the reason is that I have recieved so many messages and emails asking for so much information on my build I would spend all my time answering mail and not building.
To combat this I made a decision and stopped building my big cat to be continued a little later. It is currently prowling one corner of my hobby room looking fearce!
I have started my second big cat as a step by step build in which I detail my every step of the build with photos etc. I’ve actually found this a good way of logging my build and will provide a complete overview rather than the WIP updates I have posted on here recently.

I know that it’s not on this forum and that will disappoint quite a few people but I needed a site where I could keep everything together and in a sequence as on the forum as people posting would disrupt everything.
I would aks that you all visit and then comment here. I’m not putting a forum on my site as I’m not sure if there is provision for one and don’t know how to do it anyway… that’s for the Nerd Herd! [:-^]
I must say that I started on the 1st February with this and it takes as much time logging the build as much as building and painting!

No release date yet, but Great Models is taking pre-order’s on it. Did you see the Aber PE coming out, It’s on display at Prime Portal

At least you’ll see how one goes together rather than pics of part builds etc. maybe this will excite you enough to have a bash!
I will keep posting here telling folks when updates are posted etc.
I wonder how the builds are going of the other usual suspects that have one of these big cats!

You seem to be making pretty good progress James. Why did you stop building the first one? That was looking good as well.
I’ve kind of come to a pause in my build. I’ve finished the engine and gearbox and just started on the hull. I’m now doing some research on interior colors and am waiting for a couple of books that might help. Plus I’m still debating how to show off the interior when completed. At this point I’m leaning towards using the clear parts.
Hi James, As for me, I have not started yet. I am STILL gathering and compiling information, and assessing what may be available for this build in the near future–P.E. ect (although there is already alot out there. Planning ahead so to speak. I don’t know about the others who have the kitty, yoxford mailed me— he has begun, but only with minor assemblies.
I am kinda sorry to say , but I kinda agree with what Karl (doog) posted in an earlier thread as far as that what you are doing is EXACTLY why these forums exist-I wish you would at least put some of it here.
when I built my T-34/85, I documented every last little mundane detail I could, for Myself–the cool stuff (IMHO)[(-D] I shared here–to get feedback and just generally share.
