What type of Model Master Acrylic can be used to give a smoked grey effect for a canopy.

Better than using a permanent paint, use one you can make yourself.
1 drop of Black food coloring (check the baking supplies aisle of your local grocery store)
1 oz of Future
Mix in an empty bottle.
You can spray or even dip the canopy to give it a smokey tint. If you want it darker, apply or dip again (after dry).
You can use the food coloring to tint most acrylic paints as well or use it as an ingredient to mix up some grime for weathering.
