Skyraider tail gear help needed

I am wondering if somebody here can explain and/or diagram how the tailwheel retracts on a Skyraider? My references are poor and not finding much in the online department. Thanks in advance for any help with this.

Yeah, that’s the kit. Does it retract straight up or fold or pivot somewhat? Maybe the kit is slightly wrong but it doesn’t look right to me. Maybe I’ve had one too many gin and tonics…LOL! Just curious on this one.

Retracts forwards into open fuselage wheelwell structure with about 1/3 of the wheel sticking into the airstream by the pictures I seen. Actuator extends almost straight when aircraft weight is off it.
