Hi, I keep on hearing from this site about Simple Green. What’s it for and how to use it?
Simple Green is a all-purpose household degreaser and cleaner.
I use it for AB clean up.
Here’s a link to their site- http://www.simplegreen.com/index2.html
Strips paint off of finished models without stinky fumes. Also takes chromed plastic parts down to bare styrene. And all bio-degradable.
I use it primarily to strip paint off of parts I screwed up on…I just soak it in it for a couple of days, then use an old soft toothbrush to scrub off the paint. Works like a charm!!!
I prefer Castrol Super Clean. It only takes an hour or two and it comes off with the toothbrush. It is also biodegradable and fairly cheap as is Simple Green.

LOL I forgot to mention that I am lazy, and that is what the grocery store sells…I can’t find the Castrol Super Clean at the grocery store, so the simple green makes the final cut…all due to my laziness!!! LOL
casterol super clean can be found @ wally world (wal-mart) in the automotive dept.you can also strain it & use it over several times & as mentioned it does a superior job
Yes it Does!!! I keep a small container @ the bench all the time
Heath,
Do you have a Kragen Auto or Pep Boys near you?
I bought mine at Kragen.
