[:)]hi all thanks for all information so far but does anybody know where i might obtain some silver printers ink i have been using the ink from silver ball point pens bought in woolworths its very good open pen up snip back plastic tube dip brush in apply . but i would like to give silver printers ink a go .im in the uk[^]
I’d try visiting a good art supply store- or at least ringing one up! I’ve often wondered exactly what it was those Verlinden boys were using- I suspect it’s the kind of ink used to make lithographs and such. If so, it’s a thick, oil-based (?) ink that comes in glass jars. One ought to last a lifetime!
If it is for decals, most of the mass-produced ones are silk-screened and not printed.
Sorry, can’t help as I use an Alps which got silver and gold colours.
For “printer’s ink” I’d ask a local print shop if they’d sell me some or find out
where the printer gets their supply from.
