Until I test fit the front clear piece. Way off the mark, too short and too wide then the stabilizer struts were short and the various grab handles looked like crap and there are a few other things that I’m suspicious of. And to make matters even more fun, there is a load of rigging involved with this bird.
As with everything else I do, there is a ongoing construction feature on my site for this flying boat if you care to watch.

There’s a kit I wish someone would make at 1/48, so my Catalina would have a friend. Maybe I’ll raise the priority on the Widgeon and Goose builds.
Lookin’ good Swanny. Your earlier post in the IF&FGB string showed the status before you started to close things up. Wasn’t until this post that I finally understood those stairs actually went somehwere other than… well… up.
