Show your Revell/Monogram builds

I purchased that stand years ago from a vendor who is no longer in operation. It was called flightpose.com. It’s unfortunate because it is a nice stand that came in different heights. This one is a spare that I keep for pictures of in-flight builds, but I have several in use to display builds.

15 year old thread, still going strong. Nice!

This one was a real pain, took 4 months, which is a lot for a low part count, simple kit. The intakes are terrible, used a tablespoon of Bondo to fix them.

Nice Harrier – Well worth the 4 month wait! Now I need to get back to work on my 18 year B-17G! oooo, and I just realized I can post it in this thread when it’s done! :smirk:

Thank you, I took a 30 year break and started up again in 2025. Still had some kits in the stash including a few old Monogram so that is where I started so I could get my skills back without really hurting anything.

I have you beat on that B-17G. I have a B-1B 1/48th scale that I started at least 30 years ago and put away because my skills didn’t allow for what I wanted to do with the kit. I hope I’m good enough now, and will be pulling it out in the next year to start finishing it. I expect it will be a 5-6 month project because I’m cutting all the control surfaces (slats, flaps and spoilers) and extending the wings so it will be in landing configuration. I sure hope I can pull it off.

Thanks again for the kind words and I look forward to your B-17!
