I was just dusting off some past builds and noticed my 1970 Buick Wildcat AMT Craftsman Series kit built a few years ago and thought it would be interesting to see how other modelers have built this kit. I also recently built the AMT 1966 Wildcat as well. They are a bit outside of the mainstream model choice.
So I am posting pictures of my Wildcats and asking forum members that have built these kits, or any Wildcat, (like the F4F Grumman or any other Wildcat kit there may be) to post pictures of their Wildcat builds in this thread.
This one is painted with Dupli-Color Deep Jewel Green. The interior is Rust-Oleum Hunter Green. The roof is Tamiya TS-60 Pearl Green. The finish is covered in Mod Podge Super Hi Shine Acrylic Sealer. The wheels are Pegasus T’s 23".

Really nice finishes on those old AMT kits, @PeterW. That jewel green is amazing, and a great reminder of why I stick with dirty and worn out military paint jobs!
