Show us your Hasegawa builds

Stunning airbrush work there, Nathan.

Good stuff people!

Nathan T, I’m liking the Me’s.

Fermis, that’s some fantastic natural metal work!

Ninetalis, you just know I like that Shinden. Hehe, that’s how mine started out, before disaster struck, that is. You did a great job, wrong prop color or not!

Gary

I didn’t know they flew these out of Texas[;)]

Nice work guys!

Kawanishi N1K2-J Shidenkai 1/48 scale. Beautiful kit!

Here’s another one. Some of you saw this one recently when I finished for the Ground Attack GB hosted by TheWildChild. Its the 1/48 F/A-18E wearing the Royal Maces CAG paint from 2008. This kit used Afterburner decals, Hasegawa and Wolfpack weapons, and Eduard PE cockpit details:

Amazing builds gang! Fernis I remember watching the Pete build and its still jaw dropping! Heres a few from my Has stable

I got this one. Hacked the wings and flaps off and rehung them, drooped the stabilzers, cut out the cowl flaps and made some more from a coke can, Cutting Edge decals of one I saw in an “Air Combat” from 1974. Really cool for me since I lived in Olathe, KS as a kid.

[:D] Yeah, that’s a little-known Japanese unit, circa '46, that had this weird fixation on Texas. Seems that stemmed from old Western movies. They adopted the shape of the great Lone Star state as their unit insignia. And, that’s the “rest of the story”. [H]

1/72 Hasegawa F-4J

and 1/48 109G-6

This thread is giving me 109 fever.

Lawdog114 and Mississippivol,

What do you use for your bases? I like them…and they seem to fit the subject perfectly.

G-J, I used an old picture frame, and built up the scene on the glass.

Cool idea! Somehow, despite having several in the stash, I’ve only ever built one Hasegawa kit - the very solid N1K1 Ja-Shiden. Got it for around $20 and used it to experiment with AK Interactive’s chipping fluids and a few other techniques. If the other Hasegawas I’ve got go together half as well as this one, I need to build another ASAP.

Looks great!..I used to work (brick layer) for a guy out of Olathe. I lived in Leavenworth 2000-03. Lived on Ft. Leav. from 84-89, again 91-95 (Army brat)

This thread needs BBQ sauce.
