My 1:32 F4
I presume that is the Tamiya 1/32 F-4J?
Well, that does it - I’m pulling the Hasegawa RF-4B outa the stash & starting on it as soon as I get home. All the builds here are simply fantastic! Keep 'em coming!
I don’t have any F-4s completed (and they on the other side of the world from where I am right now anyway), but how would you guys feel if I posted photos of F-4 builds from model shows I’ve manage to attend over the years, including the 2012 Nats in Orlando?
I would like to see them.
OK, went through my files to see what F-4 models I photographed at shows over the years. These are from the 2006 IPMS Ft. Worth contest. That was the first time I’ve ever photographed models, and it shows…

Continuing on, these 3 are from the IPMS North Cental Texas (Dallas metro area) show from 2007 and 2009.

RF-4 dio from the 2009 IPMS NCT show. I cant help but wish I could go back and have a do-over with these shots with my current camera and experience level…

After a 3 year break from the hobby due to working overseas, I managed to spend a few hours of the first day of the 2012 Nats in Orlando photographing all I could. It was a difficult way to shake the dust off the camera, seeing all the superb models you expect to see at a national level event. Hopefully, I had more hits than misses.

Man, those are nice builds, Ish! Thanks for digging them up!
These guys are probably the oldest builds in my collection, from around 2000-2002.They are from the 1/48 Hasegawa Phantom Series.I built them OOB as my skills were minimal, but overall I think they look okay.

Also there are some AWESOME Phantoms on display here !!
Tojo, those are awesome Phantoms! From what I can see, you’re being too hard on yourself. They look great!
Darn - I’d forgotten that I had two Hasegawa Phantoms in the stash - the RF-4B and an F-4J, both 1/48th. I’m hoping that I can build them to look at least half as good as what I’ve seen on this thread so far. Just pulled them outa the stash tonight, and ready to start on them, but I just know I need to finish all the ones that you see below first…right?..I mean, I shouldn’t be starting any more before I finish these…looks I’m addicted…to plastic…no cure…Ahhhhhhhh!
Hello, I am building a tamiya F-4J and would like to include some support equipment, Where did you find the items in your pictures? My scale is 1/32.
Thanks
Lots of gorgeous Phantoms in these pages [Y][B]
Here’s my 1/48 Academy F-4B. It was a joy to build. It has over 300 decals/stencils applied. Eduard belts used and thin wires for wheel bay plumbing.
Old Monogram 1/48 F-4D built back in the mid 80’s OOB.
The old Hasegawa 1/48 done back in the early 80’s OOB.
Just recently picked up the ProModeler 1/48 F-4E which is really a reboxed Hasegawa. That’s on deck to be built.
Thanks for kicking this back to the top, PJ- always happy to look at some Phabulous Phatoms!
Those are beautiful guys!
