I had posted about a year ago about the shop light I had just purchased. It was a 2000 Lumen LED fixture, same shape as ordinary fluorescent shop light (hang from ceiling type). It cost me 20 bucks.

I am well satisfied with it, but today’s ad from Menards (where I bought the one above) features a 5000 lumen one for 15 bucks! I am not sure I really need that, but it is inticing.

I hung one of about that output on a 7x15 porch, and it really lights it up. About 6’ off the floor.

Put 2 in my so called hobby room, don’t remember what the output is, but they light up a 8x16 room like it’s a bright day.
