Hiya,
Here is a pix of the USS Roosevelt going through “shock trails” back in 9/19/87.
A friend of mine that I work with at the Border was one of the skeleton crews who took part in this test. He has not been the same ever since…[:p][;)]
Sorry about the small resolution, fer some reason or other my folks PC is not to friendly at the moment… Can’t wait to get my PC up and running.
So enjoy…
Sometimes during these trials the charge is set a little too close. We had a submarine that spent over three years in a drydock trying to put it straight again. It was found that it would have been cheaper to scrap it and build a new one rather than fix it. It was a good learning tool however.
Man, can you imagine how much trouble these guys would be in? I would imagine that even if they are allowed to stay in the military, they would send the rest of their time cleaning the head with their own toothbrush.
Yo Justen,
I hear ya loud n clear my friend. Just the thought of usung my own toothbrush gives me the chills… Somebody elses, now thats a different story[:p][;)].
Going up to Ace anytime soon??
Flaps up, Mike
