it had a diesel engine
the russians used them in the east (with both guns maybe maybe not HVSS)
the USMC used them in the east (but with 75mm gun nor HVSS)
the british used them in the west (but with 75mm gun nor HVSS)

EDIT

sory ive just seen that the HVSS was the E8 suspention
only the Russians had the HVSS but very late in the war, maybe it missed the war

I do believe the Canadians used the M4A2 76 HVSS postwar.
