I am getting ready to mate the hull pieces on my Italeri M4 A1 and I have a question. Were the inner fenders welded to the hull or would a slight gap be ok. I have looked at a lot of pictures and about 90% appear that there should be no gap. But I found this picture http://www.track-link.net/gallery/2125 (not sure if I can post another persons pictures or not) that shows a slight gap. As many of you know the Italeri kit leaves something to be desired as far as fit[:(!] but I want to try to make it as accurate as possible.

The gap shouldn’t really be there Richard. Like Jon has already pointed out, it was attached by a bracket.
